Napoli stop Inter's winning streak with a 2-0 win at home soil. The first half was very one-sided where Napoli were constantly attacking, while in the second half, the better team was obviously Inter, although the two goals conceded. Cavani put Napoli in the lead after converting a penalty after being fouled in the box by Thiago Motta. Later on, there was a sense of controversy when Milito was pulled down in the box, yet the referee didn't blow the whistle for a penalty, booking Milito for diving instead. The second goal came in injury time by a wonderful run by Cavani. Napoli will now face Siena in the semi-finals.
Siena also advanced to the semi-finals where they won against Chievo Verona to a 1-0 score, despite being a man down.
